The Springtime sun has been shining down on the Textlocal offices this month! Being recognised for another award, welcoming four new staff members and adopting a new Textlocal mascot has made March a very memorable month!

Alex Staniforth leaves for Everest on Saturday... Good luck Alex!

18 year-old Alex leaves the UK this Saturday to attempt to become the youngest ever Brit to climb the south side of Mount Everest. As proud sponsors, Textlocal wish Alex the best of luck in his journey and look forward to receiving his text message from the summit!

'#nomakeupselfie' proves the instant power of the Short Code

As the '#nomakeupselfie' went viral during March, it proved the simplicity and familiarity of a short code and keyword is still as popular as ever, with each 'selfie' being accompanied with a text donation, raising millions of pounds for Cancer Research. What was also learnt was that you must be clear on what the keyword is that you want people text, keep it simple and remember that auto-correct isn't always helpful! Read the article here.
